by A BARANGAY captain from Lipa City, Batangas was gunned down Wednesday morning, June 9, 2021, by motorcycle-riding assailants, police said.
The Lipa City Police Office identified the victim as Cesar Catibog, 68, of Barangay Pagolingin East.
Police said Catibog was approached and shot at close range by the gunmen after he got off a barangay patrol vehicle along Torres Street in Barangay 6 at about 7:40 a.m. Wednesday.
He was declared dead at the NL Villa Medical Center.
