A man has died after an alleged assault at an apartment block in Rushcutters Bay.
Police arrived at the scene on Kings Cross Road in Sydneys inner east just before 2pm where the man, believed to be in his 30s, was found unresponsive in a basement parking area.

Paramedics performed CPR on the man, before he was taken to St Vincents Hospital in a critical condition.
Police confirmed he died a short time later.
A man was arrested at the scene and taken to Kings Cross police station, where he is assisting officers with their inquiries.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the incident, a NSW Police statement said.
Kings Cross Road was closed at Ward Avenue for a short time on Wednesday afternoon, but reopened by 3.30pm
