NSW reported seven new coronavirus cases and warned people to stay out of the city because of the growing number of cases linked to CBD venues.

Chief Health Office Kerry Chant said six of the seven cases were linked to the Avalon cluster and one case in a northern beaches resident is under investigation. There are three cases now linked to the sports bar at the Paragon hotel in Loftus Street in Circular Quay.
Dr Chant urged anyone who has been in the north-eastern part of the city, including Australia square, MLC Centre and Chifley squares to “be alert to symptoms and get tested immediately”.
There are now four cases linked to the Alimentari cafe in Paddington. Anyone who dined at the cafe between December 17 to 19 is urged to get tested if symptoms arise and stay isolated.
NSW Health updated its list of locations visited by infectious people. Anyone who attended the Glorietta restaurant in North Sydney on December 16 between 12pm and 12.45pm is advised to immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days regardless of whether a negative test is received. The same applies to anyone who attended Massage Link in Leichardt on December 18 from 12.30pm to 1.15pm.
New locations have also been added in Rozelle, Darling Quarter in the CBD and Balmain. Full list of locations here.
