Let’s take a look at the state of play.
Pennsylvania: Trump leads by 164,000 votes
Though Trump maintains a large lead, Democrats are increasingly confident that the remaining votes will fall for Joe Biden. Currently 89 per cent of the expected votes have been counted with mainly mail-in ballots from the Philadelphia area left to tally – and they skew heavily Democrat.
-Trump 50.72% (3,215,983)
-Biden 48.13% (3,051,565)
North Carolina: Trump leads by 76,000 votes
-Trump 50.09% (2,732,084)
-Biden 48.69% (2,655,383)
Georgia: Trump leads by 18,000 votes
Trump’s lead has been eroded here as officials toiled throughout the night in at least one county to tally the votes. As batches of votes were counted through the night, they broke 80%-20% towards Joe Biden.
-Trump 49.57% (2,432,097)
-Biden 49.2% (2,413,999)
Nevada: Biden leads by 7600 votes
This is a razor thin margin but if Biden takes it he scrapes home.
-Biden 49.33% (588,252)
-Trump 48.69% (580,605)
