A crime scene has been established near the shopping centre after the body was found about midday.

A mans body has been found near a popular shopping centre in Melbournes south-east.
A crime scene has been established near Fountain Gate shopping centre after the body was found opposite a park, near the intersection of Princes Highway and Raven Crescent in Narre Warren about midday.

Police and emergency services are at the scene.
A police spokesman said the exact circumstances of the mans death had not yet been established.
Forensic officers were at the scene, located at the side of the road near a bus stop, where the body was found on Wednesday afternoon, and the area has been taped off to the public.
VicRoads said the left lane city bound is closed on the Princes Highway due to a police incident between Magid Drive and Tinks Road. Two lanes remain open.
