by On my nephews 13th birthday a few years ago he got a brand new laptop with his favorite game (Minecraft) installed and ready to go. We were all hanging around eating cake and I asked if he didnt wanna play on his computer, since hed just gotten it and all, and he told me he was almost done with his book and hed rather finish it first because it was a really interesting series. Then he went back to reading.
I have absolutely nothing against gaming or gamers, but that moment was so quintessentially him and it makes me love him even more. He was so genuinely excited about finishing his book that it was more important than playing his favorite game
